All of us who have ever been into an MLM business know that retaining MLM reps into the business can be as challenging as recruiting. However, many people think that if the business is good, you should have no problem retaining your reps. False.

There are people who are in Numis Network just to collect the asset. As long as their monthly auto-ship of coins is delivered, their expectations are met. They won’t leave the business, because this is what they want from it.

So, it is a golden rule that you must not set false expectations: for example, you can’t tell people to join Numis because they’ll make thousands of dollars within the next 3 months just by sitting back and relaxing. First of all, anyone with some common sense won’t believe a word, and secondly, you’ll be setting wrong expectations and, as soon as they see what you promised is not going to happen, they’ll quit.

As for the people who would like to build their business, you need to support them all the way through the process of getting to know how Numis Network works, and again, just be fair in presenting all the information, do not let yourself carried away by too much enthusiasm and create in them expectations that are too high. As soon as they see they can’t fulfill them, you risk losing those Numis reps.

What you can do to help them succeed in their Numis business is first of all, continuously motivate them. Make them see the reasons why they can and should succeed rather than keep on focusing on why they are not so successful.

Also, retention of your Numis Network reps depends very much on if and how much you are able to get your downline to duplicate your results. Duplication means that whatever it is that you are doing to make your Numis business grow, they should be able to do it as well. So you need to explain to them very clearly and concisely what steps they need to take.

Do not allow newer Numis reps to get discouraged by the fact that they can’t explain the business to other people from the very beginning. They have your web resources, until they build their own, there are webinars and there are live meetings they can attend; they can always have people invited to see, read or listen to a variety of information.

And finally, do not try to push your Numis reps, to impose on them to do certain things – to attend meetings, for example, if they don’t want to. Try to motivate them but keep in mind that not all of them have the mindset for success, not all of them are made for an MLM business. Do not waste your time and energy on people who don’t have the determination to make it in the Numis Network business, as you’ll miss out the people who can succeed, and would, if you gave them some attention.

It has been said over and over that leads are the lifeblood of your business. If you are running an MLM business, you already know you can’t do without them. They are the people that will potentially form your downline and grow your business. They are essential. But if you still cannot manage to get the leads you need, it might be either because you are doing something wrong, or because you are using the wrong MLM lead generation system.

In fact, the bigger problem seems to be finding qualified leads, rather than just any leads. This is why purchasing leads from lead brokers and lead companies is most often not a good idea. You can read hundreds of stories on the internet written by people who experimented with this, usually at pretty high  costs, and got burnt.  If you buy your leads, you will most probably find the opportunity seeker type of leads rather than MLM leads. MLM leads are the type that are looking for a home based business and are interested in MLM, as they have previous knowledge about it. The other type is made up by people who just sign up for any opportunity that looks good. The only way to get an idea about what type of leads you will be getting from a company is to ask the company how they generate their leads. Of course, you’d need to check the company first, to see if they are a legitimate company and if they function legally.

In the best of cases, they would get you leads, even qualified MLM leads, but there is one problem that’s left though: the source is not infinite and forever-lasting. There is no guarantee it will be around for the next half-year, not to mention the length of time you’d need it to work for you.     

All of these lead us to the following obvious conclusion: learn how to generate your own leads! This will surely last for as long as you wish. Most importantly, the result will be a reliable MLM downline, who got there because they were interested in your business and/or product, and who will be able to generate more business.

By learning to generate your own free MLM leads, you will be sparing both time and money. Not to mention that you will be learning marketing skills in the process which will spare you the effort and (high) cost of hiring people to market for you.

Productive, handy and absolutely free internet lead generation methods include: video marketing (there are free websites like YouTube .com); blogs (you can set up a free blog); article marketing and press releases; social media (spending time on social networks is absolutely free).

If you are in an MLM business or thinking of joining one, it doesn’t matter which, how good it is, and even how good you are at it, your basic concern will always be to expand your team. It’s the only way to constantly increase your income. So you need to recruit new people to the business, and not only that, you have to recruit efficiently. What a good system should do, first of all, is provide leads, which are the lifeblood of any MLM business. There are many good MLM or network marketing systems on the internet; you just need to find the right one for you, with the promotion systems that suit you best. All online network marketing systems have some common features:

"    A strong leader and spokesperson

"    Unique product(s): most of these systems have their own products, sometimes the self-contained marketing system.

"    Lists: all of them collect and save opt-in permission contact lists of customers or potential customers.

"    Joint-venture partners – these are usually respected online marketers with large opt-in lists that will help create momentum and sales for just about any product.

"    Auto-responders: one of the most effective marketing tools, a series of automated follow-up e-mails that dramatically increase sales.

"    A toolkit of marketing resources: marketing resources such as lead capture pages, SEO tools, links, graphics, banners, landing pages, brandable reports, articles or e-books.

"    Automation: the whole system is automated to the degree that it's possible; otherwise they couldn't support such large networks.

There are the "out-of-nowhere" systems that boast with complete automation, telling you that you don't have to do anything but sit back and enjoy the money. This should raise a red flag for you, as, many times, these systems won't provide value; it's possible that they won't provide quality leads, or it's possible that they control your list.
Then, there are the systems where usually the provider is a thriving internet marketer; they have a product, they give you the instruction and the technology you need, and, with a good mentor to guide you, you can become a strong network marketer yourself. A good part of the branding will belong to them, though, so they will have some control over your marketing. For beginners, this will be a good thing, though.

There is another type of system, one that is a definite advantage for the experienced network marketer, as it allows him to promote himself only, giving him complete control over his branding, his list, and his marketing. At this point, people will flock around him for himself, not a product, for his training and leadership that should help them achieve success no matter the MLM business or system they opt for.
Unless you are already an internet marketing guru, the best advice I have for you is to look for an experienced network marketer to guide you. Some say your success is not a matter of what you join, but WHO you join. Think about it, it only makes sense that it's your mentor who influences your success rather than the system you use.
