This is the mindset that’s in some of the most successful people in the world. Such as Michael Jordan, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump, Martha Stewart and many others. If you ask any majorly successful person you’ll get similar answers to what I’m going to reveal to you here today.  One of the reasons why network marketers fail is because they don’t have the fire in their gut to succeed that burning why what drives them.  To easily swayed into daily life and negativity around them.  When you’re not consumed with the desire to succeed, you’ll let any excuse stop you from taking action. Such as fear of talking to strangers, not having the time to grow a business because of your job or your children, or perhaps not having enough money.

Ø  Have a big reason why - Your reason why has to exceed your excuses or complacency.  Your reason why can be something simple or something complicated. For example, your big reason why could be to buy an expensive watch, or to have more time for your friends, family or children. Having a big reason why will help you go through those tough and less productive times when you could really think of hundreds of things you’d rather be doing.

Ø   Pick a few personal goals that really motivate you - This may sound similar to having a big reason why however having a big reason why tends to be much grander than a small personal goal. A goal could be a 7 thousand square foot mansion and a personal goal could be to double your monthly car payments or better yet actually pay cash for a 50-100k car.

Ø  Have a work hard or whatever it takes mentality – Most of the time if you ask a person do they think they work hard they will say yes. Having a work hard mentality is different from just working hard. You can work hard for yourself, or you can work hard for someone else and the results are 100 to 1 for working hard for yourself.

Ø   Have a take action mindset - The best way to describe this characteristic is to learn by taking action. It is good to learn when trying to grow your business but too much preparation can be bad. The best knowledge you can get is from trial and error. If you spend too much time studying, you’ll only accumulate outdated knowledge.

Ø   Don’t just take action, take massive FOCUSED action – When it comes to working a business, multitasking is not always a good thing.  I always suggest if you have focus make sure to be part of a team and a system that will allow you to have focus and work smarter allowing you to build multiple streams without having to be unfocused or in to many different directions. When it comes to business, you want to stay focused and get good at one task at a time or have a system that will allow you to work multiple tasks. When it comes to MLM many people try to start multiple MLM businesses before they can get profitable and successful in one.  I believe in multiple streams however if you are a newbie and you don’t have a system in place to handle the task of building multiple streams then stay focused on only one.

Ø  Activity is what creates results, not positive thinking – Positive thinking is thinking about the think instead of doing and assuming and creating the thing which is justifiably yours. Activity is owning it. It’s the power of creative possession.

Ø   Have a Long-Term Perspective - Most people are absolutely driven to become millionaires, however it’s important to understand that natural law will provide you with a greater level of resistance than the goal you seek. It’s supposed to because if it didn’t everyone would be millionaires. This is one of the reasons why some of the most driven network marketers quit, because they are not willing to handle the resistance for the goal they seek.

Ø   You must REALLY like your product or service - If you don’t really like your product or service, are you going to really want to go through those hard times? When you constantly go no after no after no from prospects, are you going to quit? If you don’t really like your product or service, you’ll just be doing the same thing you’ve been doing all your life. Just doing what it takes to pay the bills and just get by. You want to have a passion and love what you do because you KNOW your product will help people with their particular problem.   I’ll even go a step further with this one you can love your product but if the compensation plan is to difficult to actually make money you won’t stay either so you need a balance.

Ø  Your business will become as you treat it TODAY - If you’re in a residual business, you are working for absolutely nothing. You have to treat your business today what you expect it to become tomorrow. This is what gives you the knowledge and experience so that you finally begin to see success you’ll be able to train your down line what it’s going to take to get to where you’re currently are. If you’re just treating your business as a hobby and something you do on the side, it will remain that way tomorrow. Learn to develop the mindset that I will become more so my people can become better as well.

Ø  Don’t be afraid of failure - Success is a journey paved with the cobblestone of failure. Man learns from a sequence of failures. The only true failure is the one that makes you quit. Failure is how you learn; Successful entrepreneurs welcome failure, make changes and formulate what works through continuous trial and error. Failure is safety.   Hit failure head on and learn and improve you’ll get it right the next round.

Ø  Own the reality that most people will not buy or consume what you’re offering - don’t design campaigns and scripts with the purpose only to attract the highest amount of people. Only a very small speck of the population will make you so much money that you won’t know how to spend it. You are in the sifting business learn to go through the numbers.

Ø  Always Be Open and remain Teachable - Most people learn just enough to be teachers. You should never turn your ears into mouths. Because eventually your ears will close. You should never think that you have all the answers. Some of the most successful marketers and public speakers still continue to learn and do research.

Ø  Keep Your Pipe Line Full at all times - Your pipeline is the blood of your business. As soon as your pipeline is your supply of prospects. You must constantly have a new fresh supply of prospects coming in everyday so that you are continuously working to grow it. As soon as you stop generating or being part of a system coop that has fresh blood coming through daily, the well of life giving water for your business will dry up.

Ø  You should always be asking yourself 2 questions on a daily basis. What would it take to be the best, and what can I do today to massively build my business – When determining these two questions on a daily basis, also ask yourself what would it look like if you always did those 2 things.

Ø  The phone is your best friend - It does not matter how you generate your prospects. Learn to listen more and talk less listen for clues that will help you succeed in closing your prospect.  The more you listen for clues the better you’ll become at moving your prospect to the close and collecting the money.

Ø  Don’t convince people into what you have - It’s a waste of time for both parties to talk people into what you have. Always remember that pros sort and amateurs convince. If a person’s favorite color is blue, don’t try to convince them why burgundy is better.

Ø  Start where you’re at right now - There are many things you can do that don’t require any money, For example, prospect on Facebook which is completely free. The empty canvas in front of you tomorrow is a result of what you do with the paint brush today.

Ø  Be honest and avoid opportunities based on greed - Greed is like a cologne or perfume. A little bit can be quite attractive but too much can be like the very stench you were trying to avoid in the first place. Don’t allow yourself to get overly excited about making a bunch of money.   Learn to have patience as you build and most of all make sure the team you are involved with is a team going in the direction and doing methods you want to do in order to build a long term business.

Ø  Have a prospecting mindset - What would it look like if you only wanted to find people who already had a want or interest in what you have.

Ø  Look to a mentor or dig deep inside – If you have a mentor great if not find one I provide mentoring and many other great leaders do as well find that person doing what you want and get with them follow them, and dig deep look into yourself. Find that internal intensity in yourself.

Ø  As you have success, be grateful and publicly express your gratitude - let people know what you did in order to receive that success. This makes you much more liked among the people trying to reach the level you have achieved and classifies you more as a leader. This is where branding starts to take hold and you become recognized as a leader, successful person in our industry.
