People often times engage themselves into network marketing because they have this impression of making a lot easily just by being at home. Usually marketing in a MLM Company doesn’t require one to invest huge amounts of capital just to be in the business. Sometimes, one could easily have their own business for as low as around 100 dollars! MLM companies’ offering low start up costs, support and training from uplines seem to be very attractive. But to really gain an income, you need to know how to sell. Selling requires a skill. You have to be keen about it.

Be smart enough to know the effective simple way of selling. Have this step by step plan to be equipped beforehand in selling and make that money from home.

Step one – evaluate your marketing skills – This is very important to those who want to join a MLM business. Everybody becomes a seller of either a product or a service once you’ve joined a MLM Company. Now the problem occurs when one has no experience or background in the line of selling. Others find the process easy because joining in doesn’t require much and uplines are very helpful to new recruits, but you still have to develop yourself with skills because marketing is also winning sponsors. There are bunch of marketers out there! Don’t start without anything to say and guidelines to follow. Figure out what’s your best skills and what are your weaknesses then focus on the skills required to be developed. So if you find that you need to get further skills, then you’ve got to get a mentor and obtain some business trainings.

Step two – Learn your product – The product is your own representation in getting customers. Learn to study the basic things about it like why it was developed, its purpose, what makes it different from other brands, how people would benefit from it. Do not face your customer without even memorizing the important factors that makes your product stand out. If the product is in the form of service, study and analyze the kind of services it offers so that you will know your target. If, however, you are representing two or more kinds of products as much as possible study them all. Then choose a single product which is easy for you to analyze and introduce and start yourself in being an expert on that particular product or service. This will lead you to step three.

Step three – Identify your target market – knowing your products or services, you could easily identify your target market. There are products offered to adults, kids, moms, elders. You could identify also if products could be easily offered to a mass of people like peers, colleagues, or groups. You should know if the products or services can be offered with people with same interests, or having the same hobby. In starting a marketing business, you will serve your customer better if you know their specific needs, wants, and desires.

Step four – Do not give yourself a doubtful impression - In targeting prospects, you have to be optimistic of the outcome once you let yourself meet your target market. Most of the times, people often think that the marketing plan won’t work for you have this worry in your mind that says “what if they’d say no?” Remember, every person you should not prejudge them as sometimes those whom you think would say no often times say yes.

You have to have a vision of success!

This is the most important thing. If you have set your mind to believe you can be successful, then for sure you will surpass all the hindrance you may encounter. This will keep you motivated along the way

You must set a definite schedule that you are sure to follow.

You must be strict when it comes to this schedule. You must know how to focus as well with it. For your business to be successful, at least 12- 15 hrs a week should be devoted to your business or about 1-2 hours a day min if you are part-time. Tip #3:

Learning is a continuous process.

Try to learn as much as you can. This helps you to be more of an attention catcher. Why? Of course, people around you always want something that they can benefit from. So, tendency, they will seek you for your help because you know better, right? You come from a position of strength

Know and set your budget. Stick with it!

You must allot a certain budget for your business. You do not want your business to hang in the middle due to lack of funds, right? So you should have enough funds to keep your business running.

You can’t expect your business to survive if you have no funds to use. Treat it as a serious business and not a hobby.

Tip #5:

Be positive and maintain it!

If for some reason in the beginning wherein things don’t turn out the way you want them to be, do not give up! This shouldn’t be a reason for you to just stop. Instead, take it as a challenge. Who knows, it might be something simple and a few tweaks and things could work out better than you ever thought they would!

Tip #6:

Be Consistent and Continue to Recruit New People

This last tip is the most important you need to develop the mindset that some will, some won’t, and some are waiting. This being said make sure to develop consistent action on your part and always bring new blood into the business it is what will allow you to have long term sustainability in your business.

Just be prepared and do not lose the determination to succeed!To sum it all up, success cannot just knock on your door and then have it. Face the reality! You won’t have success unless you work and are ready for it.

Below is an Interview I did with my Good Friend Jim Chao who is a Facebook Marketing Genius he has really got this down. He was visiting me recently and I was talking with him about some of his techiques and how he gets so many leads daily. He went over everything with me step by step and man it is amazing. Jim also explained to me that the main things with regards to Facebook is so many people lead off with their MLM company and they just send out mass messages and post on walls all over the place which people get very annoyed with this technique and it doesn’t work period. You must create you and then post value, tell about your family your lifestyle. People want to know that you are real, honest and sincere in what you are doing and then and only then will you get people who will follow you on as a friend. I’ll even go a step further with this it is not difficult to get friends especially since Facebook is so huge. However to get those people to listen you must offer them something they want and need. Facebook is like scrapbooking people love lifestyle, how your success is going and they want what you have but only if you create that value.

When setting up your Facebook you want to make sure first and foremost use your name or some form of it. Don’t pick a name that is your company your are promoting that is not how to make Facebook work to your advantage it will weigh against you and you’ll end up instead of building your reputation in a positive way you’ll have the opposite effect. You also want to make sure to have somewhere to send people like a blog where they can get training, value and or tips to grow their business. The other thing we want to discuss is fan pages this is a must I think right out the gate so you can start to create that branding right away and especially if you have a blog start getting fans from there and from your facebook page itself. This is a powerful tool when used right.

You want to spend about 30 mins a day minimum building up your account and building relations on their to gain friends, followers and fans alike. Get a group setup this is so powerful along with your fan page all this tied together and with the proper skills you will seriously be able to explode your Facebook responses and leads.

- There’s no doubt you will encounter obstacles along the way. But hey! Those are just to be taken as challenges. It should not hinder you to hit your goal. Bear in mind that determination overcomes obstacles.

6. Know how to promote

- MLM is not just about how to build down lines. You also have to promote your MLM program. Make sure to spread the word. The more people who will be aware of your program and or product, the more leads you will have.

7. Invest more time

- To be successful, you need to have time to be focused on your goals. Do not worry; your hard work will pay off in the end. You want success, right? Then make time for it!

8. Believe in what you do

- You can achieve your success if you yourself believe in your program. You’ll have a hard time making others believe if you yourself don’t. So after setting your goals and working for it, believe in your hard work and achieve SUCCESS!
