This is the mindset that’s in some of the most successful people in the world. Such as Michael Jordan, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump, Martha Stewart and many others. If you ask any majorly successful person you’ll get similar answers to what I’m going to reveal to you here today.  One of the reasons why network marketers fail is because they don’t have the fire in their gut to succeed that burning why what drives them.  To easily swayed into daily life and negativity around them.  When you’re not consumed with the desire to succeed, you’ll let any excuse stop you from taking action. Such as fear of talking to strangers, not having the time to grow a business because of your job or your children, or perhaps not having enough money.

Ø  Have a big reason why - Your reason why has to exceed your excuses or complacency.  Your reason why can be something simple or something complicated. For example, your big reason why could be to buy an expensive watch, or to have more time for your friends, family or children. Having a big reason why will help you go through those tough and less productive times when you could really think of hundreds of things you’d rather be doing.

Ø   Pick a few personal goals that really motivate you - This may sound similar to having a big reason why however having a big reason why tends to be much grander than a small personal goal. A goal could be a 7 thousand square foot mansion and a personal goal could be to double your monthly car payments or better yet actually pay cash for a 50-100k car.

Ø  Have a work hard or whatever it takes mentality – Most of the time if you ask a person do they think they work hard they will say yes. Having a work hard mentality is different from just working hard. You can work hard for yourself, or you can work hard for someone else and the results are 100 to 1 for working hard for yourself.

Ø   Have a take action mindset - The best way to describe this characteristic is to learn by taking action. It is good to learn when trying to grow your business but too much preparation can be bad. The best knowledge you can get is from trial and error. If you spend too much time studying, you’ll only accumulate outdated knowledge.

Ø   Don’t just take action, take massive FOCUSED action – When it comes to working a business, multitasking is not always a good thing.  I always suggest if you have focus make sure to be part of a team and a system that will allow you to have focus and work smarter allowing you to build multiple streams without having to be unfocused or in to many different directions. When it comes to business, you want to stay focused and get good at one task at a time or have a system that will allow you to work multiple tasks. When it comes to MLM many people try to start multiple MLM businesses before they can get profitable and successful in one.  I believe in multiple streams however if you are a newbie and you don’t have a system in place to handle the task of building multiple streams then stay focused on only one.

Ø  Activity is what creates results, not positive thinking – Positive thinking is thinking about the think instead of doing and assuming and creating the thing which is justifiably yours. Activity is owning it. It’s the power of creative possession.

Ø   Have a Long-Term Perspective - Most people are absolutely driven to become millionaires, however it’s important to understand that natural law will provide you with a greater level of resistance than the goal you seek. It’s supposed to because if it didn’t everyone would be millionaires. This is one of the reasons why some of the most driven network marketers quit, because they are not willing to handle the resistance for the goal they seek.

Ø   You must REALLY like your product or service - If you don’t really like your product or service, are you going to really want to go through those hard times? When you constantly go no after no after no from prospects, are you going to quit? If you don’t really like your product or service, you’ll just be doing the same thing you’ve been doing all your life. Just doing what it takes to pay the bills and just get by. You want to have a passion and love what you do because you KNOW your product will help people with their particular problem.   I’ll even go a step further with this one you can love your product but if the compensation plan is to difficult to actually make money you won’t stay either so you need a balance.

Ø  Your business will become as you treat it TODAY - If you’re in a residual business, you are working for absolutely nothing. You have to treat your business today what you expect it to become tomorrow. This is what gives you the knowledge and experience so that you finally begin to see success you’ll be able to train your down line what it’s going to take to get to where you’re currently are. If you’re just treating your business as a hobby and something you do on the side, it will remain that way tomorrow. Learn to develop the mindset that I will become more so my people can become better as well.

Ø  Don’t be afraid of failure - Success is a journey paved with the cobblestone of failure. Man learns from a sequence of failures. The only true failure is the one that makes you quit. Failure is how you learn; Successful entrepreneurs welcome failure, make changes and formulate what works through continuous trial and error. Failure is safety.   Hit failure head on and learn and improve you’ll get it right the next round.

Ø  Own the reality that most people will not buy or consume what you’re offering - don’t design campaigns and scripts with the purpose only to attract the highest amount of people. Only a very small speck of the population will make you so much money that you won’t know how to spend it. You are in the sifting business learn to go through the numbers.

Ø  Always Be Open and remain Teachable - Most people learn just enough to be teachers. You should never turn your ears into mouths. Because eventually your ears will close. You should never think that you have all the answers. Some of the most successful marketers and public speakers still continue to learn and do research.

Ø  Keep Your Pipe Line Full at all times - Your pipeline is the blood of your business. As soon as your pipeline is your supply of prospects. You must constantly have a new fresh supply of prospects coming in everyday so that you are continuously working to grow it. As soon as you stop generating or being part of a system coop that has fresh blood coming through daily, the well of life giving water for your business will dry up.

Ø  You should always be asking yourself 2 questions on a daily basis. What would it take to be the best, and what can I do today to massively build my business – When determining these two questions on a daily basis, also ask yourself what would it look like if you always did those 2 things.

Ø  The phone is your best friend - It does not matter how you generate your prospects. Learn to listen more and talk less listen for clues that will help you succeed in closing your prospect.  The more you listen for clues the better you’ll become at moving your prospect to the close and collecting the money.

Ø  Don’t convince people into what you have - It’s a waste of time for both parties to talk people into what you have. Always remember that pros sort and amateurs convince. If a person’s favorite color is blue, don’t try to convince them why burgundy is better.

Ø  Start where you’re at right now - There are many things you can do that don’t require any money, For example, prospect on Facebook which is completely free. The empty canvas in front of you tomorrow is a result of what you do with the paint brush today.

Ø  Be honest and avoid opportunities based on greed - Greed is like a cologne or perfume. A little bit can be quite attractive but too much can be like the very stench you were trying to avoid in the first place. Don’t allow yourself to get overly excited about making a bunch of money.   Learn to have patience as you build and most of all make sure the team you are involved with is a team going in the direction and doing methods you want to do in order to build a long term business.

Ø  Have a prospecting mindset - What would it look like if you only wanted to find people who already had a want or interest in what you have.

Ø  Look to a mentor or dig deep inside – If you have a mentor great if not find one I provide mentoring and many other great leaders do as well find that person doing what you want and get with them follow them, and dig deep look into yourself. Find that internal intensity in yourself.

Ø  As you have success, be grateful and publicly express your gratitude - let people know what you did in order to receive that success. This makes you much more liked among the people trying to reach the level you have achieved and classifies you more as a leader. This is where branding starts to take hold and you become recognized as a leader, successful person in our industry.

Learning MLM secrets to success is not that difficult. You just have to have a focus. What could be that focus? It’s to succeed on the right path. Below are other guidelines that could really be of help for you to achieve success.

1.   Set your goals Your goals should be SMART! S-pecific, M-easurable, A-ttainable, R-ealistic and T-ime bounded. One more thing, do not just set goals. Instead, take steps to reach them.

Now that I got that off my chest lets get down to business and learn some true proper skills.  I’ve learned from some of the best of the best in this industry and truly have come to realize that Network Marketing as whole is one the best vehicles for the average person to seriously become financially independent and allow the average person to reach their goals quicker and faster.  With the economy the way it is today this is something that we truly need if we are going to pull ourselves out of this mess we are in.

Let me tell you a quick story I’ve learned of the years that the main way to build your business in network marketing it through relationships.  You must first and foremost build a relation with the person you want on your team and here is a key that most forget.  You want someone that is going in your direction if they are not don’t try to convince them otherwise let them be.  Everyone must decide for themselves what and how they want to proceed and with what company.  There is no right or wrong in this industry if you love the company you are with and you are already getting great results that is fantastic I’m just here to give you some tips that might accelerate your success even more.  If you are reading this because you are struggling and or maybe looking for another company to get involved with whatever the case may be I hope this article will shed a little light on a better way to bring team members into your circle.

Now let’s talk about people and using social networking Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Ustream and how do you attract and separate yourself apart from the garbage this is a simple funded proposal, you need someway for them to be screened out someway for you to get to the laser targeted people that will allow you to have people chasing you people calling you, signing up even if while you are out playing and having fun a 24/7 Auto-pilot machine.  I mean this is so important and a must in this business if you truly want to build financial independence.  If you simply just lead off with your opportunity without building any kind of rapport how do you expect anyone to join you and this is the most common questions my clients and or students ask me why is no one joining my team.  What can I do to get more team members and every time I take on a new team member to teach the ropes I find they just simply need to have the proper skill set to build relations.  The right tools and marketing system as well as learning what attraction marketing is and how it will change how they think and feel about network marketing.

Next time you are talking with someone try to take the entire conversation by you asking pointed specific questions about them then simply sit back and listen for clues as to what is it they are looking for what is it they want and how can you help them.  With that said you will really find out that people truly will tell you everything you need or want to know about them if you simply listen more and talk less.  Ask questions and listen then periodically go for a close if the moment comes you’ll know if they are not interested move on that simple.

Everyday we get bombarded with new latest greatest tool that will change your life make you a millionaire or seriously increase your business.  This is common place on twitter, facebook you name it we get it everyday.   This brings to mind several questions to really uncover what is real and what should you really move forward with.

Will this help my business and change my life?

These are usually questions I get from people I mentor and coach on a daily basis. They want that one secret that will make them rich they will shoot to the top in their network marketing company.  There is a secret and that is “SYSTEM” Save Yourself Time Energy and Money.  Let me tell you a quick story I’ve master the art of working harder in fact I got started in Network Marketing over 16 years ago and I did the flyers, meetings, hotel meets, posters, local ads and this was before the internet was really anything and phone costs where not something you could use for getting people in other states let alone globally.  Now I’ve been marketing online since 1999 and coaching people how to prosper online with these different tools and what works and what doesn’t.

Just a few short months ago I was searching for a better more advance technique to be able to get my business on auto-pilot and with that search i found the current system I use.  This system has allowed me to take my online business and take it and turn it up by 10 fold and seriously put it on steriods.  With this system was introduced to Mike Dillard’s Traffic Formula 1.0 and Magnetic Sponsoring which has seriously changed how I do business today.  In fact it is so powerful in changing my business I can’t imagine dong anything else with regards to buidling my business.

Just to give you a clear picture of what a Funded proposal is briefly and I’ll follow-up with other posts as well to expand on this.  Funded proposal allows you to build a following and make money even if someone doesn’t join your business opportunity.  It allows you to simply take your business and get your leads for free and have an incredible growth explosion in your primary business at the sametime.  I get people all the time calling me up that I coach and mentor and simply saying thank you for introducing them to attraction marketing and funded proposals.

Traffic Formula 2.0 you will seriously be able to get your business put on steriods and you will gain the knowledge that will seriously take your business to new heights.  It is absolutely one of those things that once you take what you learn and put it into action you will see incredible results quickly and fast.  The basic premise for success and something that I feel Mike Dillard puts into very common easy to understand terms.  Is find someone you like and that is being successful and then follow what they do you will then get same to similiar results.  This is a lot of how things work in our industry of Network Marketing if you simply work with someone who truly is ready to take you under their wing and give you all the tools necessary to build your business successfully.  It is not as difficult as most of you might think and with the proper tools it really becomes easy simple and duplicateable.

It is all about duplication give someone a recipe and also include the exact ingredients along with the same untensils, oven and then tell them to follow this recipe using the tools you provided them they will be able to duplicate and expand and even sometimes do better then you have.  This works everytime and the key is having the desire the ability to take things to new heights and working hard each day to impliment this recipe.

Having a Home Based Business is just like any business and or job that you might have currently accept it is run from your home rather then going out to somewhere a building or office.

People want to make it seem as if they are different, They want to feel there has to be a secret. However you are not different and there is no secret in having a home business. The only thing you need to realize is that you will still have a serious business you simply will be working from home to build it. Now I want to cover a few things that you must know no matter what kind of “opportunity” you may be dealing with or currently searching for.

1) You must be able to target people who are interested in what you’re doing. Call them customers, clients, prospects, leads, whatever you want for that matter, the point is you must be able to reach people who are interested in what you’re doing.

2) Now that you have targeted people and reached them, you now need to have some way to start to build a relation with these people. This can be done through a website capture page and or a series of websites, phone, snail mail, articles, marketing. The main point is simply start to build that relation with these people and or prospects.

3) You also need to now have something that will begin to sell them on your business. I know I said sell but truly you must do this. This can be accomplished by you personally or someone else who has more experience, but the customer is going to have to be “sold” if you’re going to make it.

4) When it is all said and done you must if you are doing a Home business which most home businesses are MLM and or Network marketing you need to create a system for them to become successful with you as well.

The things mentioned above are an absolute must for any business and or Network Marketing opportunity, whether it be based out of the home or based out of some office building. There are other details but these are the main steps to get your started. For most people the first things I find is that people would say something like this.  You have to take a look at my this new business I found it is awesome, cures every illness will solve all your money problems.

Now just for a second think about what would happen or I would imagine if you have already done this what is going or has happened.  If you call and or already called your MLM prospect in this fashion he/she would have put on their running shoes and you probably wouldn’t hear from them again or maybe you haven’t heard from them if you have experienced this before.

So what’s the secret?  Well it is the SYSTEM and I will tell you this; your aim if you want to at least get the prospect to take a look at your opportunity is to build a relation before puking up all over your MLM prospect and become a mentor on a mission.

You must first realize people don’t get started with companies they get started with people they know and trust.  Relationship is the key because if that mlm prospect doesn’t trust or like you they will never join you in business.?

Here’s a shortlist of techniques you should observe before even thinking “puking” on your potential MLM business partner.

1. You want to be approachable and real. You will be a direct reflection of the company you represent.

2. Forget the script or at least be able to go away from it. Why? Because people will know the difference between a genuine, from the heart spiel as opposed to a written presentation read word for word.

3. You need to be coaching and giving your potential prospect value from the start. Yes, from the moment the introductions are over. The term over-deliver should be ingrained in your mind. Start training your prospect with helpful tips and information. Point them in the right direction. Always give them direction and keep them in motion forward.

4. By doing the above your MLM business prospect will begin to be draw them into your business rather than convince them into your business. You earn respect, not demand it and once your prospect likes dealing with you then chances of recruiting them will multiply 10 Fold

5. Always trial close someone before you even start to do steps 1-4.  How?  Easy I’m going to give you a quick tip I learned form one of my mentors and it is simple.

Lets say you call up an potential prospect you get them on the phone and I’m going to assume you know this person. You lead of like this get a little small talk out of the way and then come right out and say hey ____  I wanted to find out if you keep your options open for extra streams of income.   (Wait for answer)  Yes:  Great well I was wondering I just got started with something new and after a lot of research I finding it to be very lucrative opportunity would you take a few minutes of your time to take a look as I know you want to get some extra money coming in as you mentioned before.  Then tie them into a webinar, call whatever your opportunity has that will explain everything to them.

Now one thing that is important this is just a bit of what you might want to do above all make sure you have some sort of system in place that will allow you to build relations with your prospects and gain their trust as you will find your team closings will explode by doing this.  Make sure to always keep you relations building giving something of value to each and everyone of your prospects.
